An easy, quick, nutritious and totally crowd pleasing dessert. Not one time have I made these and not have them be a super big hit. You don’t even have to tell your guests that bananas are an excellent source of potassium, a natural electrolyte, help improve blood pressure control, and help promote bone health. I promise they will love them without even knowing the health benefits.
What you need:
Bananas sliced in half with skin still on
Honey or agave nectar
Heat BBQ to medium
Rub honey or agave on bananas
Sprinkle with cinnamon
Place bananas on BBQ skin side down and lid closed for 2 minutes
Turn over and bbq tops with lid closed for 2 minutes
Remove and serve.
