Did you know the fruits that grow on Cactus trees are edible? Not only are they edible, they are delicious. They have many names – Cactus Fruit, Prickly Pear, Cactus Fig, Optunia, and their Spanish name, Tuna. I find them almost year-round at our local hispanic food market and make Margaritas with them.
